What is Hand Therapy?
Hand therapy is a specialised area of physiotherapy that focuses on the assessment and rehabilitation of the hand and upper limb.
It involves management of injuries, post-operative recovery and conditions affecting the nerves, tendons, joints and soft tissues.
Hand Physiotherapists use treatments including exercise, splinting and hands-on therapy to restore movement and function.
The aim is to restore movement, strength and function and help you return to the activities that are important to you.
